About: Loyalty and Blood
Loyalty & Blood was founded in 2006 by the husband and wife team David Denosowicz and Maggie Doyle. The idea of L&B was born in the couple’s studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where they design and produce t-shirts, tote bags, and jewelry.
Originally from Austin, Texas, David and Maggie moved to New York City to complete their masters’ degrees in fine arts at The School of Visual Arts. The two fell in love with the energy of the city and being involved in a community of working artists. Soon after graduating, they found the demands of living in NYC required them to settle into unfulfilling day jobs. Witnessing the DIY ethic emerging in handcrafted products, the two looked to their printmaking and metalsmithing backgrounds to form a line of products.
When they are not working in the studio, David and Maggie like to hang out with their two handsome cats, John Wayne & Tiggy. Both enjoy traveling to new places, making art, visiting galleries and museums, collecting art books, music, and trying out new vegan restaurants.
